Malwarebytes Reviews When Protection Feels Fine Until Something Breaks

Installed it mostly to stop thinking about security stuff every five minutes, and for a while it seemed fine because nothing obvious was going wrong. Then one day it started flagging things that didn’t look dangerous, while at the same time missing something that actually slowed the whole system down. That kind of situation makes it hard to tell whether the software is genuinely useful or just adding noise. For people who have used Malwarebytes for more than a quick trial, does it actually feel reliable in day-to-day use, or does the experience get more frustrating the longer it stays on the device?

Used security software like that before because I wanted one less thing to worry about, not another app throwing random alerts into the day. The annoying part starts when it flags harmless stuff, then somehow misses the one thing that actually drags the system down, because that makes the whole tool feel less trustworthy over time. If it got to the point where I needed someone to explain what the software was doing, I’d probably go straight for malwarebytes customer service phone number instead of wasting more time guessing whether the alerts were useful or just noise.
